Winged Flats

I love birds, and I think if I wore shoes with wings, I would feel a sense of freedom. These Klushka Wings shoes have illustrated wings on their soft leather surface. My inspiration was from a visit to the British Museum, where I found beautiful drawings of animals on Native Americans' leather coats. These drawings were not only decorative, but also spiritual.

The Native Americans believed that the feather was symbolic to the bird's ability to carry prayers to spirits. I liked it a lot. Check out more images of the Klushka Wings shoes above.
