The WildStar game is set to be an MMO that rivals all that came before it, including titles like World of Warcraft, Everquest II and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Producer Stephan Frost describes the game as "one of the most feature-complete MMOs" of the past 10 years."
New content will reportedly be available on WildStar on a monthly basis, which is why there will be a subscription fee required to get into the game. However, paying with real world money won't be the only way to fuel your love of the game. With its CREDD system, WildStar will also accept virtual money that you've earned in-game as payment towards a subscription.
WildStar's open beta started on May 8th and runs until May 18, with the game's launch set for a release on June 3rd.
