This pastel-adorned, whimsical school in Chengdu, China is the work of Hong Kong-based studio Karv One Design.
The space is incredibly playful and stimulating, with a number of activities that will surely stimulate kids. Spanning a total of 3,520 square meters, the whimsical school will push forward "experimental learning" and will act as a "play space for families at a sales office belonging to property developer Fantasia Holdings." Thus, Karv One Design's project becomes a testimonial of how the workplace seeks out to be more supportive and family-friendly.
In terms of design, the space is adorned with a welcoming pastel color palette and chic white partition screens that double down as minimalist sculptures. The layout of the whimsical school boasts a total of eight classrooms, a music room, a hall/function room, a cafe area, and more.
