WhatsApp has launched a new feature to undo the ‘Delete for Me’ action, allowing users to reverse the action of deleting messages for only themselves in an individual group chat and instead delete them for everyone. In order to allow users to delete a message for everyone in a discussion, WhatsApp launched the "Delete for Everyone" option in 2017. The purpose of the functionality was to solve the problem of transmitting messages inadvertently in private and public chats.
Sometimes users mistakenly erase a message that was sent in error by selecting the 'Delete for Me' option rather than the 'Delete for Everyone' button. With the implementation of this new feature, all Android and iPhone users can take advantage of it.
