WhatsApp unveils a new slew of updates including a beta iteration of group voice chats that allow users to have more liberty to exit and enter as they please. Upon receiving the update, there should be a waveform symbol at the upper right side of the group chat.
When clicking on this icon, it starts a group voice chat and will note that it is opened with a microphone seen on the left side of the screen and a red 'X' on the right side. Everyone else that is part of the group will get a push notification similar to any message received rather than a phone ringing. The banner will display the number of people in the chat and allow them the option to connect.
