NEON Designed the 4.3-Metre-High 'The Fountain' in the UK

— December 2, 2025 — Art & Design
Design agency NEON is behind a stunning public water sculpture, aptly named 'The Fountain.' This installation is set up "at the heart of Neighbourhood Square in Brent Cross Town, London."

NEON's The Fountain stands over four meters tall and functions as a water feature. The body is constructed from stacked plates of a durable, weather-resistant solid surface material. The components were intentionally arranged with a subtle asymmetry to create varied visual perspectives and dynamic water cascades.

NEON's conceptual aim with the water sculpture was to reinterpret the historical role of communal fountains as civic landmarks that provide both aesthetic contemplation and opportunities for informal public interaction. The project's inauguration included a community-focused initiative where local residents contributed personal aspirations, which were documented and displayed to foster a sense of shared ownership and narrative connection to the artwork.
