While ice cream is traditionally thought of as a summertime treat, Baskin-Robbins has found a way to make the dish winter-friendly with its new Warm Lava Cake Sundae.
The new Warm Lava Cake Sundae is a seasonal treat set to launch in early January 2017. The dish itself consists of a warm chocolate sponge cake filled with a decedent liquid chocolate center. The cake is then topped with the customer's choice of ice cream, hot fudge, whipped cream, chopped almonds and a bright red cherry. The mixture of hot and cold toppings helps to transform the dessert into the perfect cold weather treat.
