Chinese billionaire Wang Jianlin recently opened a theme park called the Wanda Cultural Tourism City that is poised to become one of the world's most popular amusement parks. With everything from an aquarium to a 3D cinema, the theme park caters to Chinese consumers looking for more immersive entertainment experiences.
The Wanda Cultural Tourism City is located in Nanchang and features a theme park, aquarium, a movie cinema complex, various hotels and retail stores. Many of the attractions in the theme park take advantage of new technology to offer guests futuristic experiences such as an interactive flight simulator and a 3D movie theater. The park is also home to China's fastest, highest and longest roller coaster, making it a top destination for thrill-seekers.
With 15 more Wanda City parks set to open by 2020, it is clear that there is a growing demand for next-level amusement parks in China.
