The Vya Line Uses Smart Sensors to Activate Automatically

While cars have the benefit of decades worth of infrastructural support designed to keep them safe, bicycles are often completely ignored in the urban environment, which makes a product like the Vya line of bike lights all the more important. The bright commuter lights not only help to keep bikers visible, but they also reduce the chances of forgetting to light up before hitting the road at night.

The Vya line includes four different lights: two headlamps and two taillamps. On all four lights, the key function is the same. 'Light and Motion', the company behind the Vya line, has developed a smart sensor that automatically activates the lights. Through the use of both light sensors and motion sensors, the lamps will only turn on when there is low visibility and the bike is moving.
