Playful Automotive Artwork

Lorenzo Quinn's Vroom Vroom Makes Its London Debut

How I never knew about Lorenzo Quinn's imaginative automotive sculpture Vroom Vroom before today is beyond me. Vroom Vroom is an oversized model of a child playing with a toy car, only this toy car is a full-scale Fiat 500.

The hand and forearm of Vroom Vroom were modeled after Quinn's son, making this sculpture a true family affair. I am crossing my fingers that Vroom Vroom will come to the states someday soon. A gallery full of photos could never do a work of art like this justice, but it will have to do for now before you get a chance to see the real thing.
