'VR World' is enabling consumers to play with the idea of death this Halloween season through a spooky narrative-driven story line which offers users a chance to experience coming back to life from the dead.
Spanning across three floors, guests are invited to choose from over 55 virtual reality experiences, with genres ranging from sci-fi to documentary-based. More recently, VR World partnered with Portal Experiences to produce 'Flatline Emergency Room,' a seven minute VR experience which enables an individual to relive the near death experience of Gloria Hippie, which occurred in a New Jersey military hospital ward in 1955.
The company describes these story lines as a pivotal transition from "storytelling to story living," which adds an even greater layer of immersion to one's experience.
