Voter registration campaigns are going strong in the United States as the presidential elections near. Many brands are looking to encourage consumers to exercise their right to vote with dedicated products and experiences. Some businesses, like Steve Madden, are going the extra mile and transforming select retail locations into legitimate registration hubs.

For the 2020 voter registration campaign, Steve Madden collaborated with Voto Latino—"an organization co-founded by Rosario Dawson, which empowers Latinos to be agents of change." The activation seeks to "close the gap in unregistered voters while educating and encouraging young people to turn out to the polls."

On March 13th, Steve Madden was planning to encourage customers to register with a unique text code displayed at stores. COVID-19, of course, placed some restrictions on this plan.
