Artfully Braided Editorials

The Volt Magazine EcoRebel Photoshoot Features Bold Hairstyles

The Volt Magazine EcoRebel editorial is currently being featured in the magazine's online platform. In the series, model Line Brems showcases an impressive assortment of braided hairstyles, each one assembled by coif expert Joe-Yves Asmar.

Asmar's remarkable talent is evident in the images taken by photographer Martin Petersson. Present in the bright, aggressive shots are fishtail tresses, intertwined bits of hair knotted together and messy braids placed in warrior-themed formations.

Makeup artist Asa Elmgren kept her color palette equally bold with red and purple lips, thick eyebrows, blue winged eyeliner and red shadow. These aggressive cosmetic choices resonated with the bold hairstyles while further teasing out their more striking elements, making for a bold display of locks and striking beauty tricks.
