There is a seamless, fluid quality to the Volna Table that gives it as much of an organic presence as it does a futuristic aesthetic. Both clean and contemporary, the table nevertheless looks like a large slug leading a life of servitude.
Created by Nuvist Architecture & Design, a studio based in Turkey, the Volna Table's unbroken, continuous form also gives it a whimsical touch as though it were crafted by magic. Although it would seem like the Volna Table would only fit into very modern and minimalist settings, it also adds an interesting detail to simple yet traditional living spaces. It is almost as if it is acting like a sculptural art piece.
