Web-Enabled Currencies

This Virtual Currency is Going to Make Online Shopping Easy

The days of online shopping have changed thanks to virtual currency. Customers on eBay will have to ability to put up listings for virtual currencies. This will also allow them to use virtual currency as forms of payment in outside transactions. Purchases through eBay will still have to be made with a government-issued type of currency.

The virtual currency category is supposed to be available for users on the UK site starting February 10. eBay has stated that the company will only allow deals to take place in classified ads and the actual transactions would have to take place outside of eBay. That would mean no auctions or price-fixed offerings available to the consumer.

Online shopping has become more and more popular throughout the years so it comes as no surprise that organizations like eBay wouldn't want to partake in online/virtual currency.
