Just ahead of the London Marathon, this Virgin Money ad encourages charitable donations in an innovative, yet slightly cruel way. The ad hilariously recreates the various faces people make when running and pairs each face up with a name.
The rather simple ad displays a struggling runner who is then given a "run face" name. Some of these nicknames include "the raptor," a man grimacing in pain, "the star gazer," for those of us who like to stare into the sky while running and "the dozer," the runner who looks like they are about to fall over into a cozy slumber.
Although picking on marathon runners, the Virgin Money ad is all in good fun, meant to attract attention to charities involved, not just from the funny faces running.
