1920s-Inspired Makeup Collections

Bésame Cosmetics is Offering Products Inspired by the 20s

There is a new makeup movement taking over the YouTube world -- a lot of YouTubers are trying out 1920s-inspired makeup. Bésame Cosmetics is the company that started this idea, as it is currently the only manufacturer of this makeup.

The brand was founded by Gabriela Hernandez out of a "fascination with art, history, and beauty; a vintage makeup brand which honors the style, spirit, and sensibility of female beauty." The brand features many unique products such a multi-purpose mascara "cake" that can be used to line your eyes and fill in your brows, in addition to being used as a mascara.

Although the brand has been around for a few years, there has been a recent spike in interest thanks to the many YouTubers reviewing the products. It is also a brand that is quite popular on the Mad Men set with makeup artists using the products. The product is now a top-seller on Sephora, as well as other makeup websites in addition to its own website. Because of the unique product offerings and formulas that try to replicate the 1920s and the beautiful vintage packaging, this makeup style is here to stay.
