Audi will Introduce Amazon Music into its 2018 Models

Audi will introduce vehicle music streaming in some of its 2017 and 2018 models in the form of Amazon Music to acknowledge growing demand for connected driving entertainment solutions. The new music streaming functionality will be available through Audi MMI connect, and works with both Amazon Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited. Drivers and passengers will be able to scroll through their favorite stations, playlists, songs and much more to find just the right music they want to listen to while commuting or heading out on a long drive.

The Audi vehicle music streaming capabilities are part of the shift within the automotive industry towards more car-oriented entertainment to keep drivers connected even when they are driving. This shift also identifies the demand for solutions to entertain passengers once driverless cars become more commonplace.
