Marks & Spencer is Expanding Its Vegetarian Christmas Food Options

To cater to an ever-growing population of what it calls "vegievores" and "flexitarian" consumers, British retailer Marks & Spencer is expanding its 'Christmas Food to Order' assortment with a greater range of vegetarian Christmas food.

Some of the new meatless options that may be conveniently ordered include mains like Mushroom Wellington, The Collection Mushroom, Chestnut & Camembert Quiche and a 36-piece collection of mince pies. As well as appealing to vegans and vegetarians, some of the dessert options are also suited to those who avoid gluten for dietary reasons or otherwise.

With the introduction of these gourmet vegetarian Christmas food options, Marks & Spencer ultimately hopes to appeal to a wide range of consumers, even if they do not consider themselves to not adhere to a mostly plant-based diet full-time.
