Fry’s Family Food Co. launched a vegan schnitzel that is being praised by vegans and non-vegans alike for its taste and nutrient density.
The Flaxseed Schnitzel is a product that is rich in minerals, fiber and vitamins, most notably B12, protein, omegas, iron and protein, all of which can sometimes be hard to come by on a plant-based diet. This meat alternative makes a satisfying alternative to meat that can be prepared and served with ease.
There were over 2,000 entries for this year's Innovation Award from Anuga Food Tec, but Fry’s Family Food Co.'s Flaxseed Schnitzel was selected as the winner. This recognition from a leading global trade fair signals how plant-based meat alternatives are challenging traditional meat products.
