Following the success of its Chao vegan cheese slices, Field Roast introduced a vegan macaroni meal made with this fermented soybean curd product at this year's Natural Products Expo West.
The vegan-friendly macaroni and cheese dish has been branded Mac 'n Chao, and comes in two varities: Creamy and Chili. The latter features a sauce made with the brand's Tomato Cayenne Chao slices, as well as a a mixture of spicy bean chili and crumbles of the company's own plant-based FieldBurger.
