The Vauxhall Monza made its North American debut at the 2014 Detroit Auto show. The Vauxhall Monza has a projected dashboard, vertical doors, fixed seats and a steering wheel and pedals that move to suit the driver. The Monza also has voice control functions and the ability to link to a future networked transportation system.
The Vauxhall Monza also has an extended range battery hybrid Ampyra/Volt with a new generation three cylinder spark ignition unit that burns eco-fuel, specifically compressed natural gas.
The Vauxhall Monza is a fantastic futuristic auto model with a number of capabilities for both the present and the very near future. For example, the makers speculate that the car will be able to link with social media (i.e. Facebook) to coordinate carpooling, share music, TV etc, with passengers as well as the driver.
