Vintage Tone-Switching Guitars

The Variax Standard Lets You Enjoy Old-School Tones

The Variax Standard is a quality electric guitar that brings together the guitar construction expertise of Yamaha with the tone modeling prowess of Line 6 to offer a wide variety of vintage-sounding tones on a single guitar.

This guitar comes with a massive library of authentic-sounding vintage tones that the player can switch between at his or her fancy. Live-gigging musicians can dial in different guitar sounds using the same instrument rather than having to switch axes between or during songs.

The tones on the Variax Standard included such iconic sounds as a 1959 Fender Stratocaster, 1952 Les Paul Goldtop, 12-string Rickenbacker 360 and more.

The guitar will be available in a selection of three finishes for around $1,120. It will be displayed at the Line 6 booth at the National Association of Music Merchants Show in Anaheim, California.
