Artists Cyrus Kabiru Creates Artistic Eyewear Using Recycled Materials

Kenyan artist Cyrus Kabriu has been gaining quite the recognition for his collection of upcycled eyewear. Made out of recycled materials, these glasses also function as artistic sculptures.

Kabriu often works with painting and sculpting mediums. Quite the green consumer, Kabriu likes to practice ways in which he can turn waste into a brand new innovation. Utilizing materials he finds on the streets of Nairobi, Kenya, Kabriu is constantly adding to his collection of upcycled eyewear. Titled 'C-STUNNERS,' this collection of green glasses features a variety of one-of-a-kind art pieces. Kabriu likes to focus on e-waste and crafts his C-STUNNERS out of wasted motherboards, speaker parts and other unconventional materials.

Through these pieces of upcycled eyewear, Cyrus Kabriu is promoting green art and clearing the streets of Kenya.
