Lady Gaga's Unique Umbrella Design is Shaped Like a Giant Seashell

Lady Gaga is no stranger to avant-garde fashion and as you might expect, when it rains, she carries a unique umbrella design to match her ostentatious style.

The bespoke shell-shaped umbrella was created for Gaga by Central Saint Martins graduate and fashion designer Luke Brooks. Brooks crafted the unusual umbrella from polyurethane foam, a carved wooden walking stick and paint to create a subtle pearlescent finish on the umbrella's interior.

The 'Shellbrella' was modeled after a "Foxhead" shell, which has plenty of texture and a distinct form. This is one unique umbrella design that will be easy to identify as your own and a difficult one to steal — especially since there is currently only one gorgeous shell-inspired umbrella that looks like this in the world and it belongs to Lady Gaga.
