The Dubai International Airport has unveiled a revolutionary travel security system -- the UAE Smart Wallet.
Emirates guests flying out of Terminal three immigration are now able to enjoy short wait times because of this new technology. This smartphone app allows users to download all their biometric data and passport information onto the UAE Smart Wallet. This means when they get to the airport's biometric registration kiosk, they are able to either upload a selfie or use facial recognition to confirm their identity.
This process eliminates passengers' need to go through an airport security official to have their boarding pass and passport confirmed. When integrated with the new smart gates, airport security is more speedy and secure than ever before.
