From Fingerprint Stowage Units to Biometric Boarding Passes

 - May 24, 2018
Biometric fingerprint security is starting to become the norm for many new gadgets, as a means of providing a level of security that is unique and incredibly hard to steal or copy.

Extending past gadgets, the Bentley Bentayga utilizes a fingerprint scanner for its Mulliner Biometric Secure Stowage unit. The introduction of biometric security for an automotive stowage unit may seem unnecessary, but it shows Bentley's commitment to technological innovation and helps to exude a level of security to the luxury vehicle.

Also included in this list is biometric boarding passes. The biometric fingerprint system is being tested by Delta in the Reagan Washington National Airport and allows users to board flights with just their fingerprints. The system is set to be more accurate, when compared to paper boarding passes, and will allow boarding a plane to be significantly easier and faster.
