Smartphones represent gaping security vulnerabilities for the majority of users, as the device grant easy access to most important information — 'Bolt App Lock' is a new app that helps consumers to keep their devices secure. The app enables users to set PINs, patterns, or fingerprint locks for individual apps, stopping potential ne'er-do-wells from being able to do any damage if they manage to get past the primary lock screen.
Advancements in consumer behavior and technology have put important aspects of people's daily lives in mobile form. Many people use mobile apps nearly exclusively for their banking, and even if those apps require passwords to log on, email apps usually don't (which means that identity thieves can retrieve accounts anyway). With Bolt App Lock, criminals won't be able to access any important apps, as it lets users decide which of their apps to lock down.
