The TT Pavilion by Konstantin Grcic was made from used AUDI car parts. Surprisingly the work looks quite cozy and well put together, considering it was built from items that weren't originally intended for this purpose.
According to the artist, cars "not only offer protection but also are perfectly equipped functional spaces for working, communicating, eating and relaxing." This idea is what drove his work of the TT Pavilion, as the space is completely functional for all of the above activities. The design could be taken apart and put back together again in various locations, although it would take a bit of work and possibly the help of Konstantin Grcic.
Overall the work demonstrates that with a bit of creativity, an item can be completely transformed into a new concept. Photo Credits: designboom, konstantin-grcic
