Thilina Liyanage designs the Tropical yoga deck which is defined by its unique spiraling structure that is made with inspiration from the look of pencil shavings coming out of a sharpener. The deck's roof reflects this directly and it is made from a blend of wood and bamboo materials. It gently curves outwards and resembles the look of the spitals that provide shade.
The selection of bamboo and cane as the main materials enhances the deck and its connection to nature. There are two pillars that act as the main support, made from bamboo, and function as the structure holding up the roof. The woven cane walls are designed with intricate patterns to allow a breathable function.
