Advertising and marketing don't always have to cost a fortune, a fact that's highlighted by this Tribal DDB Instagram campaign. The Israel-based ad agency recently launched a campaign to promote its new office and work culture through the social photo app Instagram. Instead of spending millions on an advertising program, the company just used hashtags to share photos and video clips of its people, office and work environment and culture.
Officially called 'Officegram' and located under the username TribalDDB_Israel, the Tribal DDB Instagram campaign allowed users to see the different facets of the agency by using hashtags like #office life and #clients. It was launched on a zero-dollar budget, but the results were spectacular -- the campaign garnered about 67,000 Google search results in only 18 days and also captured 300 new friends for Tribal DDB.
