This 'Tribal DDB' Ad Humorously Encourages House Insurance for Smart Homes

This Tribal DDB ad encourages home owners to purchase insurance even if they feel safer having tech-based home protection. The humorous ad features two goofy burglars breaking into a home and stealing valuable items -- a process made easy with the home's smart devices.

The burglars enter the home and continue to find valuable hidden items which appear when the men hit the sensor triggers. This ad educates home owners that even though houses can be protected by apps and tech-based devices, anyone can ultimately access the software. At the end of the commercial, the home-owner is seen on stage boasting about app-connected home security even though he is actually being robbed.

The main goal for the Tribal DDB ad is to outline the risks that are associated with a lack of home insurance. Without home insurance, nothing inside of one's house will be protected against theft. An additional underlying factor for consumers to consider is that having high-tech devices is another reason to purchase insurance and protect expensive products.
