There are 30 teams competing for their 'traveling pod' design to win at this summer's Hyperloop competition and team rLoop is a collective that believes that its traveling pod design will win.
Made up of industry experts from NASA and other engineering companies and formed on a Reddit page, the group has designed the rLoop traveling pod together using the Cloud and have communicated through chat platforms. They designed a 12-foot long pod that carries one or more passengers across a mile-long track. The group plans for the pod to be safe, fast, cost-effective and efficient.
The pod meets FAA regulations and the group says that to their knowledge, they are the only team that has met these regulations so far.
