Trauma Survivor Fashion Catalogs

Tractatus 7 by Denise Prince Rethinks Ideal Beauty Standards

Photographer Denise Prince rethinks today's ideal beauty standards with a physical trauma survivor fashion catalog. She essentially modeled her photoshoot after a lookbook from a high-end Italian fashion house Missoni. Originally titled 'Replication and Breakdown of the Missoni Estate Line Catalog,' the now dubbed Tractatus 7 project is incredibly eye-opening.

Although it might be tough to view the strong individuals featured in the physical trauma survivor fashion catalog, this aversion truly shows the way the world is skewed. Prince reveals, "I deeply believe that engaging with what we think we fear and yet gives all meaning to life (death--to the extent that this work is a reminder) brings with it a sense of greater peace." She has embarked on an admirable journey.
