October 21st, 2015 has officially been branded 'Back to the Future Day.' It's the day that Marty McFly, the film's protagonist, arrived in the future in the 1985 cult classic. In honor of the occasion, this Toyota Back to the Future campaign compares the movie's vision of the future with how things actually are today. The campaign includes an ad featuring the film's original stars, Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, and an interactive site.
One of the futuristic technologies showcased in the Toyota Back to the Future project is the ability to turn waste into hydrogen fuel, a concept that Toyota is harnessing with the Toyota Mirai, an extremely innovative, hydrogen-powered vehicle.
