Toyota Receives a Uniform Makeover for Its Toyopet Engineers
Toyota taps Yosuke Aizawa from White Mountaineering to redesign the uniforms for its engineers at the Toyopet facility locations. The designer is known for creating heavyweight pieces and now joins the team in-house to craft uniform suits that update the functionality from Toyota's previous design. The collaborative team takes many aspects into consideration, from both functionality to visual appeal.

The suits are constructed from hardwearing layering cotton shell and then reinforced with seams. Dozens of versions were created to perfect the final design. The color palette chosen boasts green as its predominant base for the reason that it doesn't show obviously show stain. The uniforms are made in two versions -- one for the team leaders and one for junior engineers, with matching sneakers and hats.
