Collector figurines are nothing new to the gaming world, but Sony's new Totaku figurines are enticing miniature collectibles. Made by ThinkGeek and licensed by Sony Interactive, these Totaku figurines are designed around Paystation's original IPs and exclusive games. There are currently seven figurines available, each measuring about four inches in height and feature solid detailing work. The figurines currently available include Bloodborne’s hunter, Crash Bandicoot, Parappa the Rapper, Kratos from God of War, the Feisar FX350 racing ship from Wipeout, Sackboy from LittleBigPlanet, and Heihachi from the Tekken series.

While some may be quick to compare these figurines to Nintendo's amiibo collection, there is one defining difference between the two. The Totaku figurines do not seem to contain any NFC -- near field communication -- functionality and exist only as collector pieces. With collector culture reaching a more mainstream appeal, these figurines are sure to entice fans of Sony's library. Coming in at just $9.99 these miniature statues are a perfect stepping stone into collector culture and seems to be Sony's break into the entry collector market.
