'The Social Catwalk' Topshop Runway Show Connects to Instagram & Facebook

This season's Topshop runway show went all out in terms of its connectivity to online realms. In the past, Topshop has experimented with a number of social runway shows, but The Social Catwalk is a campaign that calls for everybody around the world to join in.

As the runway show was going on in London, Facebook users were invited to watch the collection unveil in real time online. In addition to this, five influential Instagrammers were capturing all the action from the front rows and behind the scenes. Users could also watch the live stream and click to instantly purchase items as they walked down the runway. On top of all this, fashionistias worldwide could snap a photo of themselves and tag it with #TOPSHOPWINDOW to have their photo displayed on the display inside Topshop's London flagship store window.
