Tommy Hilfiger recently launched Tommy Jeans Xplore as a new line of smart clothing that can be paired with an app to earn points that can be put towards rewarding experiences.
Gamification is commonly seen within marketing campaigns and loyalty programs, but this new line of apparel and accessories from Tommy Hilfiger integrates the products themselves. Each piece item in the new collection is embedded with Bluetooth smart tag from Awear Solutions, which pairs with the companion Tommy Jeans Xplore app.
As far as some of the rewards that can be collected from sporting the garments, consumers can make the most of concert tickets, visits to the Tommy Archives and runway show invites. Additionally, the points collected may also be put towards discounts or converted into charitable donations.
