The traditional Japanese culture and tradition comes with many different rules and mannerisms on how to conduct yourself in a public space, Tokyo Metro has recently created a series of extremely colorful and informative posters to help tourists avoid getting stared at for being unintentionally rude and also serves as a reminder for the local Japanese people.

The posters remind passengers of the subway to be courteous to one another in this latest 2013 series of etiquette posters. The manner posters include reminding passengers not to fall asleep in a way as to inconvenience others sitting beside you. A second poster reminds you to lower the volume. Another reminds you to give your seat away to people in need, like expectant mothers. While a blue poster tells you to refrain from bringing oversized baggages on the train.
