The Tokyo 2020 Robot Project from Toyota has been completely revealed by the brand as a lineup of solutions that will all be making their debut at the Olympic Games in Japan next year.
The lineup includes a few full-sized humanoid robots such as Miraitowa and Someity, which will be used for welcoming guests, athletes and even offering a handshake. The T-HR3 robot will provide high-fives to athletes and even feed remote footage to visitors to keep them involved in the action. The lineup also includes the Field Support Robot that will retrieve objects on the field including shots and javelins to let human staff avoid the task.
The Tokyo 2020 Robot Project from Toyota is part of the company's shift towards socially supportive technology to provide guests of all kinds with a more accessible experience to the Olympic action.
