This sculptural toilet kit could help bring improved health and sanitation to developing communities in Zambia. Currently in the midst of a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, the Wish for WASH SafiChoo toilet adapts to your favorite pooping position. While sitting on the can tends to be standard in North America, squatting is the preferred stance in many other countries. This inventive commode lets locals take their pick.

The SafiChoo toilet kit addresses the problem of open defecation, which in turn leads to ecological and health problems for underserved communities. It has a modular design with a "toolbox of options" for users. The award-winning student design has six possible assembly combinations that takes into account design, engineering, international development and business feasibility.
