Streamlined Dating App Transactions

Tinder In-App Purchases Now Go Directly to the App

Tinder in-app purchases will go directly to the platform itself. The dating app will no longer use Google Play Billing, this will allow the app to keep 30% more of its revenue. Apple and Google app stores previously received 30% of all transactions on the app. This also comes with new convenience features for users to make in-app purchases, the Tinder app will now remember users' payment information. Additionally, the user option to pay using Gooogle pay has been removed.

Tinder is still available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Tinder no longer relying on third-party app stores for billing information allows the company to keep more of its profits. But it also allows the app to be more self-sufficient, where it relies less on third parties to conduct its operations.
