According to recent reports, Frito-Lay's Kettle-Cooked chips now come in a delicious tikka masala flavor. While the brand is well known for experimenting with global ingredients, the latest chip variety delivers the bold and complex flavors of Indian cuisine.

The new Tikka Masala Lay's Kettle-Cooked chip flavor was spotted at a Costco in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, indicating that the new variety is likely part of an early roll out. Although information is still scarce about the actual taste of the chips, the flavors likely mimic that of the spicy Indian curry. This means, flavors such as tomato, onion, garlic, ginger, coconut and chili pepper are likely to be the most prominent.

While Frito-Lay has experimented with other curry-inspired chips before, the new tikka masala flavor marks the first time such products have been offered in the US.
