There are many reasons why some people haven't fully embraced online shopping, customer service being one of them, and yet that might not be an issue for much longer with Tictail. The online shop-making platform has introduced in-app messaging dubbed Tictail Talk in an effort to bridge the digital gap between owner and customer.
Considered the "Tumblr for online shopping," Tictail brings ease and convenience to starting up one's own online shop. With the addition of Tictail Talk, the experience has never been more enjoyable. Fast Company writes, "That access goes two ways: The owner can see a customer digitally browsing the shop and easily chat with them, even offering discounts and special offers on the spot to entice purchases. That messaging functionality can expand to send greetings and discounts to groups of customers—in other words, an in-app newsletter that won’t clog email inboxes."
