In a bid to help ease stress levels for students and raise awareness for pet adoption Simon Fraser University hosted a kitten therapy session for students. A total of five kittens were on campus for students to visit and play with during the exam period to help offer a bit of relief from stress.

The event at Simon Fraser University drew in long lineups of students hoping to take a break from their studies to play with the kittens which is purported to have great benefits for stress relief.

The event was hosted by the university's Health and Counseling Services Centre in collaboration with the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association. The kittens that were visiting the campus for the therapy sessions were available for adoption.
