The photos are mainly taken within vast, country landscapes with the 'Tree People' standing tall in the open fields. The photos are in black and white to create a more realistic effect, where the trees seem to be live creatures walking the earth. In many of the images the people stand straight and tall like a tree to make it seem as if the plant is simply an ordinary part of the setting.
In the 'Tree People' photo shoot it is interesting how all of the trees and the people used are different. Some trees have many leaves, while others have none. This shows that each "character" is an individual and a part of his/her own world. Marko Prelic creates quirky photographs that we grow to love more and more after looking at them.
