'The Toothless Monster' Plush Updates Tooth Fairy Traditions

Three Little Hens, a children's toy company, launched 'The Toothless Monster' as a fun toy for kids that "magically" gains teeth of its own as children lose them.

The Toothless Monster plush toy comes with a set of 16 glow-in-the-dark plastic teeth and a hardcover book that tells its story. As the story goes, Toothless Monsters Monte and Meli are friends of the Tooth Fairy and are prevented from eating a special fruit due to their toothless nature. When a child loses a tooth, they are instructed to place it under the plush toy's tongue, so that while they sleep, a guardian can remove the real tooth and add a plastic tooth to the mouth of The Toothless Monster—helping to create a new ritual around a childhood tradition.
