The Mail Online has featured the Thunderbanger, a unique replica car designed by amateur mechanics Keith Huntington, Mike McCartan and Shaun Bridgeman. The trio converted a £300 Fiat Marea into a replica of the Thunderbird 4 -- the fictional submarine featured in the 1960s TV series 'Thunderbird.'
It took nearly twelve weeks for the men to build the Thunderbird 4 replica, which features fake fins and polystyrene turbines. They will travel with the replica car to Lille and Barcelona.
Implications - The Thunderbird 4 will raise £5,000 for Clic Sargent, which specializes in childhood cancer donations. The color creation was parked in the playground of Cravenwood Primary School in Crumpsall to surprise the kids.
