Taking inspiration from one of America's most beloved cartoon families, Krispy Kreme Australia has debuted The Simpsons D'ohnut. A mouth-watering new creation that Homer himself would approve of, the new donut is a deliciously fun take on a memorable pop culture symbol.
The Simpsons D'ohnut is a tasty new treat that is inspired by the iconic pink donuts that Homer Simpson was frequently seen drooling over. Just like the cartoon version, the new donut features a ring-shaped yeast dough base that has been dipped in strawberry-flavored white chocolate truffle icing and lightly dusted with colorful rainbow sprinkles. The new treat is available at Krispy Kreme stores across Australia, as well as at 7-Eleven through to April 30th.
The new cartoon-themed donut demonstrates how American pop culture is being used in clever ways as inspiration for dishes around the world.
